High end Samsung player only released in Korean & US markets as statement player.
Released in 2003 & cost SGD 3,300 imported from US.
Its a beautiful player,built like a tank & weighs 17kg!
Now to the good stuff:
This player is DESIGNED to upscale DVD from 480i to 480p OR 720p OR 1080i THROUGH COMPONENT OUTPUTS!This is not some cheap player that does this as an afterthought,it was DESIGNED to upscale to High Definition resolutions!This is perfect for someone with a TV or projector with component inputs that wants DVDs upscaled to High Definition.Since the upconversion is done within the player you get better results than using a separate scaler.
I have been using this player with my Sony super fine pitch widescreen CRT TV & picture is amazing.
Plays CD & DVDA using digital output only.
Selling this baby as moving to high end audio.SGD 500.00.
