I have the Sony MX-V8 Portable Mic Mixer available for rent.
Sony handycam normally allows you to connect only 1 external mic. It also cannot accept any external audio / music source when you are shooting video .
With this Sony mixer mounted directly on top of your videocam's accessory shoe and connect the
mixer's output cable (miniplug) to your videocam's mic input,
you can now connect
2 external mics (minijack) + 1 audio / music source (minijack)
(concert theatre's sound system / CD player / etc)
The audio volume level can be individually controlled.
It just needs to be powered by a small CR2032 lithium battery
