1.) Maintenance of plating baths to ensure that plating process is in control,
2.) Operational control of gold consumption during gold plating and management of gold recovery and scrap sales on a monthly basis,
3.) Management of chemical waste disposal
4.) Manage all EHS related activities for plating department, with special efforts on risk assessments, documentation, licensing, control of hazardous substances and coordination of training,
5.) Maintenance of chemical storage facility and responsible for inventory of chemicals,
6.) Maintenance of laboratory and safety equipment to ensure all equipment are in working order and calibrated,
7.) Liaise with government officers for site-inspection on plating department’s waste discharges and work safety,
Requirements:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering (lab studies)
- Experience in performing titration processes & operating laboratory equipment e.g. AA spectrometry
- Prefer locals or Sin (PR)
