Responsibilities:
Set risk management criteria, review underwriting guidelines and monitor compliance with underwriting authority
Provide technical advice to underwriters, broker and Claims Department regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings and application
Review and amend, if necessary, all policy wordings
Perform regular underwriting audits and ensure underwriting discipline is maintained in the regional countries
Assist regional countries (9 countries) to develop coverage, price and terms with Distribution.
Implement regional new product developments
Assist Regional Manger in implementing strategic plans and support him in key areas of production, administration and overall running of the department
Supervise, train and mentor underwriter(s) in the region.
